What does the event look like?

MRKH Canada's MRKH Conference is a jam-packed day of education, empowerment and support for people with MRKH, their supporters and medical professionals. We aim to keep the atmosphere casual, positive and supportive and hope everyone walks away from the experience feeling enlightened and empowered. There will be smiles and there will be tears.

A typical conference day starts off with registration, some breakfast foods & refreshments (coffee, tea, etc.) and opening remarks by our MC. We get to know each other with some ice breakers, get to know MRKH Syndrome with a talk by an MRKH Specialist and then hear from guest speakers who have MRKH. We make sure to take breaks and eat some lunch (included in your registration fee). In the afternoon, you can expect a variety of Breakout Sessions and then we divide into support groups: the MRKH group, parents group, partners/friends/siblings groups, etc. To finish off the day, we all reconvene for a Q&A to answer any final questions guests may have.

Following the conference, we often arrange for a casual social gathering for some mingling outside of a structured setting (and to treat ourselves to some delicious food!).
